Vi avevo già parlato di The Row, prima linea di moda della gemelle Olsen, ispirata e aperta al prototipo della donna matura ed elegante. Parallelamente a questa, le due gemelle hanno creato una seconda linea Elizabeth and James, dedicata ai fratelli minori, e indirizzata ad una clientela molto più giovane; segno di rottura rispetto alla prima linea è sicuramente lo stile, molto più aggressivo e alternativo, in certi aspetti assolutamente innovativo, come ad esempio le scarpe, altissime e dalle forme più disparate. Se con The Row le Olsen si erano fatte un nome nel campo della moda, con Elizabeth and James lo hanno rafforzato maggiormente; trovo infatti molto interessante portare avanti parallelamente due linee così diverse l'una dall'altra, una scelta difficile, ma sicuramente geniale.
